Winter Season January 2017

The apples have all been harvested in and been made into the delicious different varieties of apple juice. The juicing season went really well with lovely mild and on the whole dry weather.

The apples were ready for juicing later this season as we had a late spring, the apples still produced their great individual flavours and sweetness.

There is a list of all the varieties we have in made on the varieties page.

At the moment the apple trees have no leaves on and are having a rest over the winter, so that when the spring comes they will burst into energy to produce our wonderful apples.

Pruning the apple trees takes place over the winter where branches that are to big or overlapping are taken out to encourage new growth and to give light into the tree for the apples it is going to produce this coming season.
